The college is run by P.S. Ramasamy Telugu Minority Educational and Charitable Trust, Sivakasi and administered by Thiru R. Solaisamy Correspondent Managing Trustee. Their valuable service in providing Quality technical education to the backward rural area is proving the social cause of running this institution. The more number of girls enrollment in PSR group of Institution for various technical programmes ensure disciplined, safe, and conducive environment in the campus., PSR Engineering College was established in the year 1999, PSR. Rengasamy College of Engineering for Women was started in the year 2008, PSR Polytechnic college, another gem in the crown of PSR Educational Trust, was established in the year 2007, The college is P.S. R College of Education was incepted in 2007 and PSR Arts and Science College was started 2017.
