Internship
The college organizes School Internship Practice to our B. Ed II – Year students every year in order to impart and to enhance quality pedagogical practices as per the direction given by the National Council for Teacher Education and Tamilnadu Teachers Education University, Chennai. During the 16 – week internship in schools, they involve themselves in multi – task oriented activities like observation of classes, preparation of lesson plans, handling classes, preparation of instructional resources, art and crafts activities, drawing etc. from standard 6th to 12th. The student – teachers will undergo internship in different schools at Virudhunagar, Thoothukudi and Tenkasi Districts. The teacher educators monitor the student – teachers’ performance during the internship practice periodically. Mr. V. Pechimuthu, Assistant Professor in Biological Science Education and Mrs. S. Saravanaselvi, Assistant Professor in Commerce Education are being the co-ordinators of the school Internship practice.
